The Graduate - Where It All Started

If you are the type of person who would watch Star Movies or HBO movie-for-the-upcoming-month advertisements,
Or the kind of guy who would sneak a peek into the movie collection that one of your class girls has in her laptop when you are asked to use it for organizing an onstage event with the whole department watching on,
Or the sorry, i mean 'rare' breed of men who would download a specified set of movies and burn them onto a disk (at times with a pathetic readme attached) for your girl/woman/her friends to watch,
then you must have probably come across a lot of "Romantic-Comedy" movies. (And chick flicks* too)

The Graduate is one such movie. Except that, it was the only such movie at that time.

Based on a novel of the same name, the plot goes something like this.
Open scene. Benjamin Braddock, a recent university graduate (must be an under graduate) is dissatisfied with his family's way of socializing (which is a rich party at home with the friends) and has no clue what he is going to do next with his life. He gets seduced by an elder woman - Mrs.Robinson and Mr.Robinson happens to be his dad's friend. He later meets Elaine Robinson, their daughter. And the rest is history.

Dustin Hoffman as Benjamin Braddock and Anne Bancroft as Mrs.Robinson put in two brilliant performances. Hoffman is perfect as being an innocent and confused young man. More importantly he has that subtlety in his acting, which forces the viewers to think it can happen to anyone. In other words, the guy in the picture is the perfect 'common man.' Mrs.Robinson is really seducing. dot.

The movie also has a brilliant soundtrack by Simon and Garfunkel. 'Sounds of Silence', 'Scarborough fair' and 'Mrs.Robinson' are amazing pieces. It also has really good camera angles and shots for its time, I m told.

Now there must atleast be a thousand odd movies with plots revolving around affairs. But the Graduate is overtly significant in the fact that it was the one that led to those thousand odd movies. Releasing in 1967, it has largely influenced the art of film-making. Up-to a time when movies were all about cowboys and outlaws(Eastwood) or murders and thrillers based upon novels (Hitchcock), the avant-garde Graduate is said to have mirrored the happenings of the society in a bold and satirical way. Thats right. Hugh Grant wouldn't have been in movies otherwise now.

Now I compared this with the Tamil-movie industry in my mind. Tamil movie heroes rarely have affairs.
We have a trend of Dada movies with aruvaals and sumo cars (Even a worser trend of movies with different areas in Madurai as film titles) We don't enjoy them. Thinking pragmatically, not even a bit. (unless Vijayakanth or TR does it, in which case its humor) But the stream of movies getting released sadly seem to be non-ending.
Violence is okay for a hero. But not sex. (Oooh that would be perverted)
Grow up people.
Why does every Tamil movie hero have to be a good guy?
Yes he shoots. He kills. He steals. But he is a good guy. Why?
There were a few movies that tried. But until someone does a Graduate (where the hero has an affair with an elder woman) "successfully" here, things are going to remain still.
And at that time S.J.Suryah will have a railway station named after him.

* Chick flicks are different from romantic comedies. Although the internet might not agree, in my opinion Romantic comedies that are slightly gay are chick flicks.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Soul touching

"Valentine's Day is a holiday invented by greeting card companies to make people feel like crap."
I, like a large number of people have found that reviews are most often not funny, unless they are critical. (That explains my yesteryear reviews on Vijay movies! ) And therefore tend to not write a lot of reviews even on the Tarantino, Nolan and Kubrick movies I absolutely revere or the romantic comedies/ heart warming stuff I come across. But this movie, the Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind had me so wrapped up, i just had to do it.

Jim Carrey acts in perhaps the only movie of his entire acting career, where he doesn't run around doing weird whatchamacallit faces or gibberish voices that are still funny at times (Liar Liar is THE greatest movie of all time) and yet he somehow does the perfect job as Joel Barish. Winslet in the movie, has weird hair, looks creepy like a die-hard metal fan and yet is lovely as ever as the Tangerine. I mean Clementine.

The movie starts off as a narration by Joel. Then slowly switches to a events-actions type screenplay. I don't wanna give you the genre of the movie, for not knowing how it goes is what made me really get into it. The plot is not much. Its simple. (For those who have seen the Inception, this must be interesting. For this involves stuff about the mind as well. Neosurrealism baby!) Its the story of a couple who fall in love with each other after hating each other 'entirely'.

Kate Winslet puts in a wonderful performance as the bubbly, fervid, free-spirited female lead whose hair color changes often. Carrey underplays and yet comes up trumps. Never knew he was so good at giving normal reactions as well. Elijah Wood does the role of a typical non-creative young man well. Don't expect anything like Sin City or Lotr if u IMDB'ed him. Kristen Dunst comes and cries for a short while too.

The movie has a brilliant screenplay. Not too slow, not too fast, but spellbinding. It also has an awesome soundtrack. The theme and the end song are too good. The intermezzi is great in places too. Nothing too great about the camera or the locations. The snow everywhere is nice though. :)

The biggest success of Eternal Sunshine perhaps lies in the way how with ease it makes the viewers identify themselves with the protagonist. Despite being an unconventional storyline, it has an emotional core amidst all. You find yourself as Joel Barish for a certain period of time in the movie. Especially, the scenes where Joel tries to keep his memories intact, you can't resist thinking about your own past. Or atleast thinking of how hard you tried.
One of the best movies I have ever seen. :)

Review - Paths Of Glory

There always exists a work pattern among people (who work). Some call it style, some call it uniqueness, but I m simply gonna stick with work pattern here. Yes, be it an actor or writer or a movie director (or a teacher even) or some profession which does something, the individual follows up on a pattern, that sticks to all of his/her works. A leitmotif.

Tarantino and his chapter narration,
Manirathnam and his fewer-than-necessary dialogues,
Eastwood and his ad sentimentum,
Jason Reitmann (directed Up in the air and Thank you for smoking) and his assertion for negative subjects,
Vijay and his punch dialogues/fight sequences, (Now you see why I called it work pattern rather than style.)
A friend of mine and his arguments, (The pattern is 'baseless reasoning' here)
The way a gamer scores his goals in FIFA,
Devi Sri Prasad and drums,
Dan Brown and labyrinths,
Any man on the planet and his 5 most often heard songs,
And any woman on the planet and her 5 most recently bought clothes.

Similarly, Jeffrey Archer has a habit of writing the entire life history of an individual (or two), from moments before his birth and years after his demise. His pattern or in fact the plot of most of his novels can be summed up by his own quote :
"When I was three, I wanted to be four. When I was four, I wanted to be Prime Minister"
More than most, Archer's protagonists are ambitious. Self willed. Either exceptionally talented or crafty. And naturally, it most often is a remarkable journey through one's life rather than a sorry account of one's existence. The only thing that separates Archer's novels from biographies is his works are most often fictional or semi-fictional, which gives him the liberty to strike out the boredom and include some creativity on his part.

His latest of this genre, 'Paths of Glory' is a semi-factual account of the life of George Mallory, a Cambridge graduate, a World War I survivor and most of all, an ardent mountaineer. Set in the late 19th and early 20th century, the story is pretty simple. Did George Mallory make history or not ?
(I m not gonna add anything more to the plot, not cos there is not a great deal to it, but simply because you will lose interest in reading as I have heard.)

Well, POG made me realize how good a writer Jeffrey Archer really is. Or rather how good a storyteller he is. And I had to admit, without doubt one of the greatest storytellers ever. His language is simple. Perhaps too simple in POG. But again he makes up for it, with his very own crisp editing and to-the-point narration. Archer must have had one of the most difficult tasks a creator could have - to explain a similar sequence of events twice. Gautham Menon did it in Vinnaithandi Varuvaya. And I cant say Archer too comes up trumps, but he did good. And without Trisha, tats a big thing. :D

The frequent inclusion of George's letters to his wife is nice in the beginning, but turns most irritating towards the end. The description of different mountains is neither too great nor too less. (I never believed I would say this), but Archer should have taken a leaf out of Tolkien, when it comes to mountains.

And like the Fourth estate or Kane and Abel, there is another individual rivaling the ambitions of the protagonist. Again, an Australian. But Archer seems to have been very careful in handling the rivalry to not remind you of his above works. Still, fails in parts.

Overall, POG turns out to be a good read. I heard Archer wrote the novel in about 3 months time. Although one might choose a better topic to write on in that time, none could have written better.
I would give it a rating of  8.5/10.

PS. pls dont wiki the fella George Mallory, for it says in exactly 10 scrolls of your mouse, what Archer wrote in 467 pages, albeit the latter is still enjoyable.

Review - The Lost Symbol

"Yesterday, I managed to do something, I haven't done properly in a long time.. And today I ll execute another one of the same prototype as well.."

'The Lost Symbol' by Dan Brown, released finally, after 3 years its expected date, proved to be a really fascinating and absorbing read. Sprawling through a labyrinth of puzzles and codes, it is a gripping fiction-on-facts story, that partly succeeds in imbuing the readers with a sense of oneness while savoring domains of the ever-existing nexus between science and theology.

The story, primarily based on the city of Washington, is essentially an all-out American novel. You know the way we Indians usually feel about about all-American stuff.. despite a large population of American NRIs, we still feel alienated when anyone extols their country. We don't feel comfortable in their nation-eulogistic songs and movie scenes. Precisely, the same reason why a lot of Indians know Yogi B better than Eminem!

Mr.Brown excludes all this. Apart from throwing subtle mentions to Vedas, Buddha, Gandhi and few other sub-continententies, he doesn't exactly blind-praise America, but rather just reveal about its ancient history. Either ways, we like the way its done :-) , after all we are guys who take pride in returning to India as America-return Indian mapillais rather than staying there as Indian-origin American immigrants!

Like the author's previous novels, this one starts off in a strange hodgepodge of events as well. Not with murder though, instead with an ancient esoteric ritual. Consequences that follow and how a Harvard symbiologist solves the ancient mysteries attending to the demands of a power-craving lunatic, amidst a CIA operation forms the plot. The novel makes fertile use of the language and combined with a mixture of racy narrative (Some chapters seem rather like a screenplay script!) and a telling plot it is really hard to Alt-F4 the eBook at times. Also Brown scores in his one-liners throughout the tale. "Google is not a synonym for Research" "Sometimes a legend that endures for such a long time.. Endures for a reason" "I come for wisdom and he offers me wealth." "We all fear what we do not understand.”

Brown also keeps the readers engaged with ingenious references to his previous works and the modern world in general. Langdon often recalls his experiences in Paris and the Vatican, comparing and contrasting. He admits not knowing how to tweet! And interesting enough, one of the characters even dismisses the holy-grail quest as silly and frivolous!

The novel though filled with suspense and proceeding in a new avenue, doesn't fail to remind you of A&D or DVC in parts. The plot too gets banal at times. Despite tautological-predicaments, It still stands as one of the best books i have ever read! Brown any day to a Grisham or an Archer!

Rating - 8/10

Personally, it achieved what a couple of novels, some famous autobiographies, few other works of non-fiction, or even the celebrated LOTR couldn't - To get my primeval reading habits back on track. And strangely an affinity through re-discovery. (That stuff my 8th grade english taught me is the Masonic cipher?! B-) )

I couldn't have read this at a better time. At a time when my mind was hovering an endless abyss, for i was facing an indefinite and silent void.
In a way i became untethered..
In a word, Enlightenment! :-)

Review - Villu

UPDATED:
Only for those who have been through this, or for those who dnt hve an idea of seeing it.

Movie Name :
VILLU
Director : Prabhu Deva
Cast : Vijay, Nayanthara, P.Raj,Vadivelu,..

Plot :
Pugal(Vijay) is a sincere police officer working undercover(which u learn later) to capture a worldwide drug-Narcotics network and in the process tries to redeem his family's lost reputation(which again u learn later). The movie starts with Pugal doing an insane jump to save a girl from being raped(?!) by the local rowdies and to also get his usual hyper-ised introduction. One of the onlookers exclaims "Is it Spiderman or Superman?" Yes yes, that insane a jump it was. A fight follows the jump and a song follows the fight. Vijay dances his ass off and Prabhudeva joins too for a music bit. Dancing has always been his USP and he proves it yet again, but unlike Kuruvi, he doesn't dance much in any other song.

And the next scene a terrorist(?) is on his usual routine smuggling at the harbour, when our hero after managing to reach the ship swimming underwater, confronts him and assures to help him, from the police that is in disguise in the harbor as workers. When questioned how he knew, he asks Racca(the terrorist) to have a look at their leather boots. Ah Sneaky! Pugal finally saves him from the police after a jet-ski pursuit, only to hit him in the face and knock him unconscious.

Else where, Racca's partners JD(Prakash Raj) and Annan(I forgot the name) meet and finds tat either hadn't killed Racca. And the goons kill their emissaries in the other's camp to show their friendship. Ada pavingala! Meantime, Pugal falls in love(we all do!) with Janavi(9thara), who happens to be JD's daughter. After a few scenes (with too much emphasis on Thara's cleavage!) she too reciprocates. Also Maada(Vadivelu) tries(in vain) to tickle our funny bone.

When Pugal goes to Munich to meet JD, he confesses that he killed Racca and has a discrete conversation with him. Next, Pugal goes to a club and dances with some foreign women, which for some reason angers one of the Annan's hoodlum (Sreeman) and a fight ensues.Pugal emerges unscathed from the fight and thus on a bid to seek revenge, Annan and his allakaingal try to kill him with a sniper from a maruthi Omni! That s when Annan realizes that Pugal is his son after seeing his mother(his wife). *Interval*

The rest of the story is predictable. Annan opens all his secret to his fake 'son', which he realizes and gets killed in a flight crash. Pugal escapes the flight crash by hanging onto the aircraft wing and by housing a parachute in his blazer! Also our hero beats every attempt by JD to kill him. The director manages to squeeze in a few songs too between the fights, where Nayan wears diff. dresses, each time getting shorter! The flashback is told by Pugal's fake mom when Jaanavi complains to her about Pugal.

Pugal's dad (Vijay again), an army officer dies in a skirmish at the hands of JD and gang, corrupt and immoral army officials. Also, after death he is labelled a smuggler and is stripped of his army credentials. Not just that, Pugal's mom (Ranjitha) is tatooed on the forehead as "Smugglers wife" LOL

As planned, Pugal lures JD to India, kills Racca, gets buried alive and still manages to escape, kills 20 adiyalunga and finally confronts JD as expected. He makes him confess to the sudden oormakkal who appear out of nowhere, that his dad was a sincere, true and patriotic martyr and then kills him. *The end*

Comments:

Very old story line of redeeming family reputation. (Apoorva sagotharargal, Departed, national treasure..)
I m not commenting on the skywards-flying-bone breaking-stunt scenes. (Does he always carry a jet pack?). They are better than Kuruvi to say the least.
And Vijay needs to do something different. not jus trim his moush and wear a ear-stud to differentiate two characters!

Costumes were too good for vijay, too short for Nayan and too stupid for Prakashraj, who comes in pink, violet, golden blazers, just to show he is ostentatious.
Music was very typical of DSP. none of the songs or BGMs tune-catching or mind blowing.
Vadivelu's comedy shines at very few places. (His animated fight with a jersey cow was boredom than comical!)

Finally vijay turns sensible with the punch dialogues, but
Too many hyper-exaggerated-impossible scenes in the movie like
*Getting buried alive, and emerging from the ground thanks to a storm that blew away the sand!
*Flying in an aircraft holding its wing.
*Blowing off 10 cars around him.
*Driving a Jet ski underwater a ship and emerge out on the other side.
And what happens to Nayanthara, Vadivelu in the end? nobody knows.

Rating : Not more than 6/10..

After years of trying, Vijay creates a telugu movie instead of remaking one. :D

Review - Kuruvi

Movie Name : KURUVI
Director : Dharani
Cast : Vijay, Trisha, Suman, Vivek..

Storyline :

Velu (Vijay) is a happy-go-lucky young man, loved by everyone and is the only male offspring of his father’s triple wife family. He is a passionate racer, an exceptional dancer and is also unbelievable at stunts. Like every other Vijay movie, this one also has a hyper exaggerated introduction scene and a song.

Now to the story..Velu’s dad is missing for some unknown reason and so, he works hard to settle all the family debts. One of the cheques given by his dad bounces and the recipient threatens to auction his house, unless he is paid 25 Lakhs in a week. Velu and his friend (Vivek) decide to go to Malaysia and retrieve his dad’s money. Being a bit low on cash, they fly as “Kuruvi”s, small scale merchants who sell Indian products to NRIs. There, Velu encounters Gocha (Suman), the rich, sophisticated hoodlum who refuses to pay the money he owes and tries to kill him instead. Thus on a desperate attempt for money, Velu purloins Gocha’s diamond and returns to India. During his escapade, Devi (Trisha), Gocha’s sister falls in love and flies along with him too. Gocha and his allakaingal follow them to Chennai and pressurizes Velu into giving the diamond.

Only at this point, Velu learns that his Dad is being kept a slave along with several others at an illegal, underground diamond mine near Cuddapah, Andhra by Gocha and his partner Konda Reddy (Ashish Vidyarti), with help from local dog, Cuddapah Raja (some Telugu actor). Velu jumps, flies, and does every impossible, insane stunt and kills all the villains of the movie and releases his father and the people with him. The movie ends with Gocha being arrested by the police for illegitimate mining.

Comments :

Too many logic flaws in the movie.. Few of them for Mr.Dharani to note :
1.The family is unconcerned about the whereabouts of the head of the family.
2.A guy’s three wives living together is virtually impossible in any part of the globe!
3.No family would love u how good u are, without a job.
4.Winning races by accelerating the car, clutching the wires using one’s teeth is not that easy.
5.No one can jump 150m in a single jump.
6.Heroines are not meant to be stupid.
7.Coma patients don’t recover that easy and
8.Just dance and songs in a movie won’t do!

The Punch dialogues are irritating too. Everyone seems to have something to say to the audience! A few of those flicks :

“Kaadu na, naan Singam,

Vaanam na, naan Idi,
Kadal na, naan Sura,
Kathu nu, naan Suravalee”

“Dai fire, car ku pinnadi irunthu prayojanom illa da, manasula irukanum”

“Ivanukku pinnadi tamil nade irukku da!”

“Pechu than oru mathiri irukum, aana namma adi…. Sara Vedi”

"Pottu Kodukira Parambarai engalathu illa,
Pottu Thallra Parambarai thaan engalathu!"

But u got to admit it, Vijay is the best dancing tamil actor today. He does a lot of freakishly-insane-looking-almost-impossible dance steps in an elegant manner.

Rating: A at the max, 5/10

P.S. A good laugh, if u have a very good sense of humor.

Identical Parent-Progenies

Ah Weekends! No boring soaps on TV, no need for alarms to wake up, extra hours for Gaming, time for carrying out what hasn’t been done, outing with ur loved ‘ones’, can have a peek at cricket and football, shopping, hotels, etc.. and most of all no sleep-inducing lectures and no tiring bus journeys. Having been busy with books all day, I decided to rest the night with a movie.

The Fight Club. The movie is about a insomniac narrator (Edward Norton), who finds solution to his problems by going to various support groups. He befriends a guy (Brad Pitt) called Tyler Durden on a flight journey, who seems to have a penchant for destructive behavior and forms a new support group with him called as the “Fight Club”. And there is this girl he hates so much, Marla Singer, who follows him wherever he goes. As Fight Club expands, they switch on to “Project Mayhem”, with Tyler as the wrecker-in-chief, causing pandemonium all over new york. As the narrator’s friend, Bob dies on a destruction project as a result of P.Mayhem, he calls it off and suddenly Tyler disappears. Everyone around him seems to be calling him by the name of Tyler and that’s when he realizes that HE is Tyler. An Alter (‘almost’ equal to a manasatchi) created by him as a result of work pressure, which was experienced as insomnia. The movie ends with a confrontation with Tyler, where the author shoots himself and kills Tyler.

If ever Tamil and English movies were contrasted and compared in every detail, there would be a lot more critics here, and a number of tamil magazines competing with Anandha Vikatan and Kumudham. Comparing Fight club (where a person and his manasatchi were acted by different people), with a few tamil movies here, I found myself laughing out loud. A long lasting blemish in the face of tamil cinema.. Identical Parents and Progenies..

The Dad and his two sons are always a look alike, except for their hair colour and the dress code. This is actually acceptable to an extent, as I have myself come across several families where offsprings are near photocopies of their creators, never identical though. This has actually been the main plot in several Sarathkumar’s movies.

I was also reminded of a Tamil movie “Giri”, where the villain (Ananthraj) has 4 sons, who are waiting for 20 years (Oh boy!) for a chance to avenge their father’s death against the hero’s family. Out of those four sons, one is a look alike to his father, while the others are entirely different! I dunno on what basis was the casting done or what the director had in mind! Wont the family look a bit odd in the society, if they had only one child looking like his father? (Sitting moment of success for the head of the family?? ;) ) Also there are a number of movies which depict annan-thambi pasam (yeah right!) where two brothers (one elderly and one younger) are identical, while others aren’t. Kudumbathula Kolapamo?

Well if ever this was a logical slip-up through the ages, melodrama moron T.Rajendhar and commercial trash Perarasu with help from Captain Vijayakanth, so-called Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Ramarajan (of 'shenbagame' Fame) on the Actors genre are affecting Kollywood big time with their illogical, supernatural, totally impossible fight sequences. I wont be surprised if any of these actors wear under garments over their pants in their next movies. They are no less a superman or a spiderman! Tamil cinema has a long way to go before it can be seen along the lines of US and UK movies and that wont happen for now!!

Enna Koduma Sir Ithu?

From the days of Thyagaraja Bagavadhar and P.U.Chinappa, Tamil Cinema has always been a attention grabber among movie lovers. Known for their sound budgets (less compared to Hindi and definitely more than Malayalam, where even a petti kadai owner could become a producer!) and sensible acting (T.Rajendhar, Vijayakanth - an exception) tamil movies have always reigned superior in the south. Melancholic melodies, dazzling N.Indian chicks, gravity-defying stunts and feet-tapping tunes, we have seen it all. However it wasn’t until last week I realized that this illustrious industry has had its hiccups too with boring subjects and awfully illogical, lowww bugdet movies.

I was lazed up on the sofa, switching from one channel to another just to see some 40+ old lady crying at the gloomy state of her daughter’s life. Man! soaps portrait people in the real world as dull, dim, brainless, stupid and anything that’s not bright. They make veterans look like novices. Why doesn’t any political party include “banning serials” in their campaign assurances? Doh! Well coming back to the bigger screen, I accidentally happen to stumble across some breath taking ;) scenes from a stupendous movie of the early 90s.

~Kathai alla Kasmaalam~

The hero is a farmer (with an ageing mother of course!) and he has problems (Vaaikal Thagararu) with a rich capitalist, who happens to threaten him to give up his land for the sake of building up some industry.(an IT park?) And yeah u have guessed right, the rich capitalist is also the father of the heroine. The heroine has endured through higher studies (B.A-higher studies?! ) and is an arrogant and haughty young woman. The hero teaches her a few lessons from his book and transforms her into a “kudumba pangu ulla ponnu”. She falls in love with our hero instantly. They also manage to squeeze in a “romantic” song, where two sunflowers happen to brush one another which means the Hero has kissed the Heroine.. oooh! ;) (Mr.S.J.Surya, this a movie too and these people are lovers too! )

Later, the heroine’s dad comes to know of her love life and all hell breaks loose. He threatens his own daughter and suceeds in making her end her love relationship with the handsome hero,(which she does it with a gallon of glycerin in her eyes) ,at the cost of which he promises to spare the hero’s life along with his land. And yeah somehow, the villain is also responsible for the death of two kelavis so closely related to the hero!

Now for that breathtaking scene I mentioned earlier.. the heroine goes to a solitary seashore temple on a dark evening and prays to god to solve all her problems. Suddenly, out of the blue, her half-saree catches fire from a nearby oil-lamp! Oh my god! The heroine of all the things she could have done, takes off her clothes as fast as she could (of course, the cameraman focuses on the sky at the moment ) and jumps into the sea, only to realize that she doesn’t know even the A B C of swimming. (Uh!) The hero is having his usual 9PM stroll in the seashore, looking out to save drowning girls in the sea. (what is he? A life guard or something?) The hero on seeing his lady love struggling against the waves, jumps in and brings the comatose heroine to the shore. The cameraman focuses on the sky again (now whats his problem!) and the sun rises. The heroine finally comes around, and throws her arms around herself in protection realising that she is wearing the hero’s dress. On a nearby pillar, facing the opposite direction is our hero who delivers his one line dialogue “nee nenaikura mathiri inga onnume nadakala.” What crap! I dunno what happened to the producer of this movie and how he accepted the script in the first place, when even an infant Steven Spielberg would have spat on it!

Enna Koduma Sir Ithu???

Also the melodramatic T.R and his super-son Simbhu is one of the most laughed at sights by today's teenagers. Few of his videos which marked his brand in tamil cinema, showcasing his multlingual prowess and also the reason why anyone in Tamil Nadu, who recitates nursery rhymes are described as T.Ragenderistic!
